A 44-year-old engineer from Volzhsk transferred 3.5 million rubles to fraudsters. As Gorodskiye Vesti was told by the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Volgograd Region, the fraudster who called presented himself as an employee of the Central Bank’s security service. He spoke about the allegedly recorded attempts to obtain an illegal loan for his wife.
In order to cancel the operation, the fraudster convinced Volzhanka to transfer money to the so-called safe account.
– On the instructions of the fraudster, the victim transferred money through the ATM to the specified accounts. The woman borrowed the money.
