With reference to Volgograd Central State Medical University, Gorodskie Vesti journalists report: in the coming days, the weather will give the residents of Volgograd the opportunity to rest from the abnormally high temperature.
Already today, June 20, residents of the region are promised partly cloudy weather, after which a cold atmospheric front will dominate the region. It will bring precipitation and lower temperatures.
On the night of Friday, June 21, meteorologists predict short rains, heavy rains in some places, rains, thunder, wind intensification, the speed will reach 28 meters per second. Heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue throughout the day. The air temperature will drop to +10 degrees in some places at night. During the day it will be no more than plus 26.
Bad weather will persist in the region on Saturday and Sunday. Rain and thunder will be observed for two days. It will be cool at night – 16-20 degrees, during the day – up to plus 28.
