Today, the State Duma approved in the first reading the bill to increase the pensions of the military by 5.1%, taking into account the changes in the inflation forecast.
The document envisages an increase in the coefficient of reduction of monetary benefits, on the basis of which military pensions are calculated. from January 1, it was 85.47% and from October 1 it will rise to 89.83%, taking into account the growth of the consumer price index of the current year, instead of up to 89.32%, as previously planned.
According to the Ministry of Finance, 2.7 billion rubles will be required to implement such an increase, and the average amount of military pension will be 41.6 thousand rubles.
