European Banking Authority (EBA:) was published today the final draft of the implementation of technical standards (HER) oninformation to the public by the institutions that implement changes in the third pillar information frameworkimported by Regulation (EU) 2024/1623 (CRR III:), in the change Regulation (EU) No. 575/2013 (CRR:).
This ITS will ensure that market participants have sufficient comparable information to assess institutions’ risk profiles and understand Compliance with CRR III requirementsfurther promoting market discipline.
Regulation (EU) 2024/1623 (CRR III) effectively introduced new and amended: disclosure requirements As a result of and based on the recent reforms of the third pillar of Basel IIIart from 434, instructed the EBA to develop IT solutionsincluding templates and instructions, i disclosure requirements provided by banking regulations.
The new ITS implementsinsightful information of CRR III, incl new requirements are
- output floor
- credit risk
- market risk
- CVA risk
- operational risk
It also represents atransitional information on exposure to cryptoassets and provides institutions with a comprehensive and integrated set of common disclosure formats while promoting market discipline.
The EBA also reports on this until the end of 2024this ITS will complement the disclosure requirements of CRR III that are not directly related to the implementation of Basel III, namely the extension ESG risk disclosure requirements to all institutions in accordance with the principle of proportionality and the new requirements information about the shadow banking system.
