Change from July 2024. pensioners will get more money
Around 21 million pensioners can expect more money in July. The salary change is 4.57 percent, that is, equivalent to 45.70 euros for 1000 euros of pension.
Disability pension recipients will receive even more. From July 1, 2024, their salaries will change by 7.5 percent. However, this increase applies to pensioners whose dates of retirement were between January 2001 and June 2014. If the start of the pension is from July 2014 to December 2018, then the increase in pension benefits is 4.5 percent.
New regulation from next month. hemp can be grown in clubs
The legalization of cannabis has long been decided. The new law on hemp states that the use of hemp is legal from April. Now the next step should be followed. From July 1, 2024, the acquisition and cultivation of cannabis will be legal in some social clubs.
In these clubs or associations, cannabis is grown collectively and distributed to members. The association can register a maximum of 500 members. However, smoking weed in clubs is prohibited. To do this, members must move at least 100 meters away from the entrance area.

From July 1st, drink caps must be firmly attached to the plastic bottle
Plastic bottles with tight-fitting lids have been available for several months now. The reason for this is the protection of the environment, or rather, the prevention of waste in nature. Because shutterbugs especially pollute the landscape. From next month, all drink manufacturers will have to switch to plastic bottles, as loose caps will be banned for some drinks from July 3, 2024.
All drink bottles and single-use packaging of up to three liters made entirely or partly of plastic are affected.
New compensation for members of the Bundestag. In July 2024, allowances will rise to €11,227.20
This change will please the 734 members of the Bundestag. they will receive 6 percent more money from July. In particular, the compensation of deputies increases by 635.50 euros, reaching 11227.20 euros per month.
Diets are adjusted annually according to the nominal salary on July 1. In addition to this amount, there is also a tax exemption as part of the so-called service equipment. It is currently €5,051.54 per month. From this, MPs have to cover all expenses, for example a constituency office or a second home in Berlin.
Changes in cable television. costs can no longer be automatically transferred
In the past, cable TV costs were automatically passed on to tenants by the landlord. The allowance for additional costs made it possible to conclude cheaper collective agreements that were calculated on additional costs. That is changing now. From July 1, 2024, each tenant can decide for himself how he wants to watch TV: via the Internet, satellite or cable. Then there will be no more auto-packaged contracts. So if you want to stick with cable TV, you’ll need to sign a contract with the provider yourself.
